Product Overview
The ZWJD111E Transformer Oil BDV (Breakdown Voltage) Tester is an essential diagnostic tool for power utilities, railway systems, and large-scale petrochemical plants. Utilizing an advanced single-chip microcomputer, it accurately measures the dielectric strength of oil-filled equipment. The system automatically executes the entire withstand voltage testing routine, significantly reducing labor intensity while delivering highly reproducible and authoritative results for your preventive maintenance programs.
Key function and feature:
- Adopting microprocessor, it automatically completes the withstand voltage test for oil circulation with a range of 0~80KV(including boosting, maintaining, mixing, standing, calculation, printing and other operations).
- Display by large-screen LCD and prompt by English menu.
- Simple operation. This machine will automatically complete the withstand voltage test on one cup of sample oil after simple setting by the operator. Breakdown voltage value of 1 to 9 times and recurrent times will be automatically saved. After the test, the thermal printer will print each breakdown voltage value and average value.
- Power-down preservation. It can save 100 tested results.
- Adopt a single-chip microcomputer to boost the voltage at an even speed. The voltage is accurate at 50HZ/60HZ, ensuring the whole process easy for control.
- It is equipped with over-voltage, over-current and limit protections to ensure the safety of the operators.
- It has the function of displaying the measured temperature and system clock.
- Communicate with computer with a standard RS232 interface.
- USB, can export the test data.

Yes, it is fully compliant. The tester is pre-loaded with IEC 60156 and other major industry testing protocols. You can simply select the standard from the menu, and the machine will run the exact corresponding test sequence automatically.
Absolutely. The device features a highly flexible “Custom” mode. Users can manually configure parameters such as boosting stop voltage, standing time (0-15min), stirring time (0-120s), boosting frequency (1-10 times), and voltage boosting rate (0.5 kV/s – 5.0 kV/s).
Test results are automatically saved in the internal memory (up to 100 groups). You can instantly print the results (including individual breakdown voltages and the average value) using the built-in thermal printer, or plug in a USB flash drive to export the data to your PC for further reporting.
The 0-80kV model perfectly covers the routine maintenance and compliance testing needs for the vast majority of standard distribution and power transformers. However, if you are testing highly purified oils or dealing with Ultra-High Voltage (UHV) equipment where the breakdown margin is significantly higher, we highly recommend the 0-100kV model.
