Product Overview
The Tan Delta and Resistivity Tester automatically evaluates the dielectric properties of transformer oil and other electrical insulating liquids.
It integrates AC and DC testing, induction heating, temperature control, calculation, data storage, and result printing into one system, simplifying preventive insulation testing while improving measurement consistency.
Designed according to IEC 60247:2004 and GB/T 5654-2007, the instrument measures dielectric dissipation factor, DC resistivity, relative permittivity, and capacitance for transformer maintenance, oil quality control, and power laboratory applications.
Functions and Value:
- Apply advanced measurement principles and highly digital technology to automatically complete processes such as heating, temperature control, high-speed data sampling, calculation, display, printing and storage;
- The oil cup adopts a three-electrode structure that meets the national standard GB/T5654-2007, with a distance between electrodes of 2mm, which can eliminate the influence of stray capacitance and leakage current on the dielectric loss test results;
- The instrument adopts intermediate frequency induction heating. This heating method has the advantages of non-contact between the oil cup and the heating body, uniform heating, fast speed, and convenient control, so that the temperature is strictly controlled within the preset temperature error range.
- It contains a standard capacitor. The dielectric loss and capacitance of the capacitor are not affected by ambient temperature, humidity, etc., so that the accuracy of the instrument can still be guaranteed after long-term use.
- Large color touch screen, convenient man-machine dialogue, simple and clear to operate, clear at a glance.
- It has warm reminders such as “open the lid to break high voltage”, “oil cup high and low voltage electrode short circuit”, etc. to eliminate safety hazards and ensure the personal safety of operators and the normal operation of equipment.
- With real-time clock, the test date and time can be saved, displayed, and printed along with the test results.
- Automatic storage of measurement data, 100 sets of measurement data can be stored, and the thermal printing speed is fast.
- With empty electrode cup calibration function.
- The calibration data is automatically saved to facilitate accurate calculation of relative permittivity and DC resistivity.
- The product has an automatic oil drain oil cup structure. You can add oil for testing or cleaning without taking out the oil cup. After the test, the oil sample can be automatically discharged.

It measures dielectric dissipation factor, also known as tan delta, as well as DC resistivity, relative permittivity, and capacitance.
The instrument is designed according to IEC 60247:2004 and GB/T 5654-2007 for testing the dielectric properties and DC resistivity of electrical insulating liquids.
The instrument uses non-contact intermediate-frequency induction heating. This provides fast, uniform heating and controls the oil temperature from room temperature to 120°C.
Opening the oil cup lid interrupts the high-voltage circuit automatically. The system also provides warnings for electrode short circuits and other abnormal operating conditions. Reliable grounding is required, and operators must not open the cover or touch the electrode cup, cables, or sockets during testing.
