The ZWYG-3 Transformer Oil Acid Number Tester automatically determines the acidity and neutralization number of insulating oil using the extraction method.
Designed with reference to ASTM D974 and IEC 62021-2, it provides accurate acid value testing for transformer oil used in electrical equipment rated up to 500 kV. Its automated workflow reduces manual reagent handling, improves repeatability, and increases laboratory productivity.

The test range is 0.002 to 1 mg KOH/g. The specified test error is no greater than ±0.005 mg KOH/g, with repeatability within 0.005 mg KOH/g.
Recalibration is required when the neutralizing solution is replaced. Calibration with the standard acid solution is also recommended when the instrument has not been used for more than three months.
Yes. The instrument performs blank titration and automatically deducts the extraction solution background value. A new blank calibration should be completed after replacing either the extraction solution or the neutralizing solution.
