Product Overview

The ZWZGF 120kV DC Hipot Tester is a regulated DC high voltage power supply engineered for preventive tests in power transmission, industrial enterprises, and research institutes. Designed with DuPont filling materials and a shock-proof control box, this equipment ensures safe and reliable DC dielectric withstand and leakage current measurements for primary electrical equipment.

Functions and Value:

1. Smart MOA Test: Equipped with a dedicated 0.75U button that automatically drops the voltage to exactly 75% for rapid and highly accurate zinc oxide arrester assessments.

2. Wireless Micro-Ammeter: Features an upgraded shock-resistant digital ammeter with a built-in antenna, allowing safe, wireless current data transmission and clear LCD readout.

3. Exceptional Stability: Uses high-frequency Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and closed-loop adjustment for smooth linear voltage regulation with a ripple factor of  0.5%.

4. Comprehensive Safety: Built-in zero-potential start, break-line protection, and easily configurable static over-voltage settings to ensure absolute operator safety.

5. Composite Insulation Cable: Includes a specialized silicone rubber high-voltage cable that withstands up to 200kV DC in air, effectively eliminating leakage current interferences.

The upgraded shock-resistant micro-ammeter features a built-in antenna that pairs with the main host. It wirelessly transmits highly accurate leakage current data directly to the display, preventing metal blocking issues and keeping operators at a safe distance.

When testing a zinc oxide lightning arrester (MOA), you first find the V1mA point. Pressing this button automatically and accurately reduces the output voltage to exactly 75% of that value, allowing you to easily read the corresponding leakage current standard.

No. For safety reasons, the tester features non-zero potential start protection. The rough voltage adjustment knob must physically be returned to the zero position before the high-voltage switch can be activated.

Using the provided discharge rod, you must approach the tested cable slowly from a distance to allow arc discharge first. Once the arc reduces, touch the metal tip directly to the terminal. Only when the voltmeter reads near zero should you attach the direct grounding wire.
