Power Quality Analyzer
The ZWDZ301S is a highly portable, handheld diagnostic instrument designed to troubleshoot grid issues caused by non-linear industrial loads.
Weighing just 1.8kg, it easily measures everything from basic electrical parameters to the 63rd order of harmonics, helping engineers pinpoint power pollution without interrupting facility operations.
Product Overview
In modern industrial facilities, the widespread use of variable frequency drives (VFDs), rectifiers, and arc furnaces injects severe harmonic pollution into the grid, significantly reducing equipment lifespan.
The ZWDZ301S Power Quality Analyzer is engineered to expose these invisible threats. Controlled via a durable silicone keyboard and featuring a bright color LCD, it provides a comprehensive real-time analysis of voltage, current, active/reactive power, unbalance, and harmonic distortion.
Functions and Value:
1. Deep Harmonic Analysis: Accurately measures and displays harmonic distortion up to the 63rd order. Results are shown in both numerical tables and visually intuitive spectrum bargraphs, making it easy to identify the exact cause of power pollution.
2. Smart Vector Analysis & CT Ratio: Displays real-time vector hexagon diagrams to easily spot incorrect wiring configurations on 3-phase metering devices. It also supports low-voltage CT ratio testing safely via clamps.
3. Non-Intrusive Safe Connection: Measures high currents safely without breaking electrical loops. Comes standard with 5A/25A clamp-on current transformers (CTs), with optional medium and large clamps available for higher current ranges up to 5000A.
4. Unbalance & Fluctuation Monitoring: Continuously tracks voltage/current unbalance, positive/negative/zero sequence components, and voltage fluctuations/flicker, providing a complete picture of grid stability.
5. Massive Data Logging: Designed for long-term load monitoring, the internal high-capacity memory can continuously record data at 1-minute intervals for over 18 months. Data can be seamlessly exported via a USB interface to your PC.
6. Field-Ready Portability: Weighing only 1.8kg and equipped with a built-in lithium battery providing over 10 hours of continuous operation, it is the perfect tool for substations, factory maintenance, and daily electrical audits.

No. The ZWDZ301S utilizes clamp-on current transformers (CTs). You simply clip them locally around the live cables, allowing you to perform deep power quality profiling without interrupting your factory production or load operations.
For quick, short-term troubleshooting, the built-in lithium battery powers the device for over 10 hours. For long-term monitoring, simply plug it into an AC power source. The massive internal memory can continuously log data every minute for more than 18 months.
Yes. The instrument features a dedicated “Vector Analysis” function. It draws a real-time vector hexagon diagram on the screen, enabling technicians to instantly visually identify wiring errors, phase reversals, or reverse polarity on 3-phase metering devices.
While the ZWDZ301S is perfect for routine checks, the ZWDZ501A features an intuitive 10-inch touch screen and adds a 4th measurement channel (for the neutral wire). More importantly, it unlocks advanced diagnostics like Transient Event Capture (automatically recording sudden voltage swells and dips) and Inter-harmonics testing for deep power quality audits.
